THE BASICS

What Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Actually Is

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy means breathing oxygen inside a sealed chamber that has been pressurised above normal atmospheric pressure. Pressure is measured in ATA — atmospheres absolute — where 1 ATA is ordinary air pressure at sea level. Raising the pressure increases the amount of oxygen that dissolves directly into the blood plasma; that is the physical principle the whole practice is built on. Hospital hyperbaric medicine typically works at around 2.0 to 2.8 ATA under specialist supervision, while chambers used in wellness, studio and home settings generally run lower, commonly between 1.3 and 1.5 ATA.

Hard-shell

Rigid Chambers up to 2.0 ATA

Steel and acrylic construction with a sealed door, built for daily use and higher working pressures. Available as single-seat, twin-seat, recumbent and stretcher formats.

Soft-shell

Zip-Entry Chambers, 1.3–1.9 ATA

Lightweight fabric chambers with a zip entry. Far easier to site, move between rooms and store, and the most affordable way into HBOT equipment.

A session

Roughly 60 Minutes, Seated or Lying Down

You get in, the chamber pressurises gradually, you rest for the session, and it depressurises just as gradually. Most people read, listen to something or simply sit quietly.

Practicalities

A Standard Room and a Standard Socket

Our chambers run from a normal mains supply and need a level floor with clearance around the unit. We confirm the exact footprint, ceiling height and power draw for whichever model you are considering.

WHY PEOPLE BUY ONE

The Practical Case for Your Own Chamber

The reasons people actually give us are straightforward — convenience, cost over time and, for businesses, revenue.

Convenience

No Booking, No Travelling

Session slots at a clinic have to be booked, paid for and driven to. A chamber in your own building is available whenever it suits you.

Cost over time

The Maths Changes with Frequency

Paying per session adds up quickly for anyone using a chamber regularly. Owning or renting turns a variable cost into a fixed one, shared across everyone who uses it.

Downtime

An Hour With Nothing Else to Do

Users commonly describe the session itself as the appeal — a quiet, enclosed hour away from a screen and a phone, built into the week.

Revenue

A Chargeable Service for Operators

For gyms, clinics, spas and hotels a chamber is a billable offering. Twin-seat units let you run two paying users in the same slot.

Differentiation

Something Competitors Do Not Have

Recovery facilities give members and guests a concrete reason to choose you and to stay — and a reason to talk about you.

Flexibility

Test the Demand Before You Commit

Rent first, see how much use it genuinely gets, then buy, upgrade or add units once you know. The decision stays reversible.

BUYING

Buying a Hyperbaric Chamber Outright

If you know a chamber will earn its place, buying outright is the lowest total cost. We supply factory-direct across the full range, from compact soft-shell units through to twin-seat hard-shell cabins.

Pricing

Factory-Direct, No Middleman

We buy from the manufacturers that build these chambers, so purchase pricing is not carrying an importer's margin on top. Trade and multi-unit rates are tiered by volume.

Specification

Sized to Your Room, Not a Catalogue

Send us your dimensions, ceiling height, access route and how many people need to use it, and we will tell you honestly which models fit and which do not.

Delivery

Delivered, Installed and Demonstrated

We arrange delivery and installation, commission the unit and walk your team through safe operation before we leave.

Aftercare

A Team You Can Actually Reach

Consumables, servicing questions and support come from the same people who sold you the chamber. Call us and you get us.

RENTING

Renting a Hyperbaric Chamber

A chamber is a serious purchase. Renting puts one in your space for a simple monthly cost instead of a large capital outlay — ideal if you want to prove the demand first, keep cash free, or simply prefer the flexibility. It is the most accessible route for most homes and for operators adding recovery for the first time.

Step 1

Tell Us What You Need

Which chamber format, how many units, and where it is going — a spare room, a studio floor, a treatment room or a spa.

Step 2

Agree the Term and Monthly Cost

We tailor the rental term and monthly payment around your budget, with room to scale up or down as things change.

Step 3

Delivery and Setup Included

We deliver, install and show you how to run it properly, so it is usable from the first day.

Step 4

Keep, Upgrade or Buy

Carry on renting, move to a larger unit, add more, or switch to outright purchase later. The choice stays with you.

THE RANGE

Chambers Available to Buy or Rent

A selection from across the hyperbaric range, spanning affordable soft-shell units and higher-pressure hard-shell cabins. Every chamber is available to buy or to rent — contact us for pricing.

COMMON QUESTIONS

What People Ask Us Before They Buy

Hard or soft?

Which Type Should I Choose?

Soft-shell is lighter, cheaper and easy to relocate, and runs at lower pressure. Hard-shell reaches higher pressures, feels more like a fixed installation and stands up better to heavy daily use. Space and budget usually decide it.

Space

How Much Room Do I Need?

It varies by model, and you need clearance around the unit as well as its footprint. Send us your room dimensions and access route and we will confirm what fits before you commit.

Power

Do I Need Special Electrics?

Our chambers run from a standard mains supply. We confirm the power draw for your chosen model in writing so your electrician has the numbers.

Lead time

How Long Until It Arrives?

Lead times depend on the model and whether it is in UK stock. We quote realistic dates with every enquiry rather than optimistic ones.

Buy or rent

Which Works Out Better?

Buying costs less overall if you are certain. Renting costs less upfront and stays flexible. If you are still testing demand, rent first — you can move to purchase later.

Operating it

Is It Complicated to Run?

No, but it must be operated properly. We demonstrate safe operation at installation, cover pressurisation, supervision and maintenance, and stay reachable afterwards.
